We know that regular human contact and play is very beneficial, so our guest's are taken out several times a day, between the hours of 8am and 9pm.
Off lead exercise is so important for a dog. Guest's here at the Grove can choose to socialise with other dogs, whether it be running, playing chase and making fellow friend's or joining in organised games and activities such as frisbee, football or hide the treat and seek, with one of our staff.
We are aware, not all our guest's like to socialise with other dog's and would prefer to play these games individually with us, then they are welcome to choose this option.
Some more senior or less active guest's may choose to stroll around and daydream or have a cuddle on the bench and just soak up some country air.
All individual need's will always be catered for
For guests that like a longer walk, we can include on-the-lead walks along a large field and in the surrounding woodland (which dogs love to explore!) to enjoy the countryside and fresh air.
Play Gardens
We believe that regular contact with playtime and cuddles is key, creating a trust and friendship which leads to settled and happy guest's.
This is why we have 2 large playarea's and 5 individual gardens made secure by 8ft fence, surrounded by field's and woodland
Indoor Play Barn
We have also built an enormous indoor play barn, where guests can play on very cold or wet days. Elderly dogs and hairless breeds will love this - because it won't matter what the weather is doing outside, they will be happy, dry and warm!
We have a selection of toys from balls and ropes, to splash pools for hotter days, and treat balls, to keep active minds on the go.
